Born and raised in the southwestern U.S., Langdon has edited and produced innovative & impactful documentary and fiction films for over 27 years. He edited the documentary NAVALNY, winner of the 2023 Academy Award, BAFTA, and Social Impact Media Award for Best Editing, among many other accolades in the effort to help support democracy in Russia. Prior editing work includes Oliver Stone’s PERSONA NON GRATA, Abel Ferrara’s CHELSEA ON THE ROCKS and MARY, winner of the Venice Film Festival Special Jury Prize, and the Peabody Award-winning BLACK SKY: THE RACE FOR SPACE. For HBO, his credits include THE FINAL YEAR, KORAN BY HEART, and Best Documentary Emmy-nominated MAPPLETHORPE: LOOK AT THE PICTURES. His producing credits include Showtime’s DETAINEE 001, and Sundance award-nominated THE COST OF SILENCE.
Langdon’s films have played at the Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Toronto, Tribeca, Sundance, and many other film festivals, in churches, mosques, schools, and theaters worldwide, and for the U.S. Council on Foreign Relations. He was awarded a grant from Start-Up Chile to found Monkey Puzzle Media, a global production company based in Santiago, Chile.
