Anita Bujanić, MA Pharm, MA Health Management, is a healthcare strategist and health policy consultant with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector, spanning public policy, international affairs and health & business diplomacy. Her work sits at the intersection of health, innovation, and economic development, with a strong focus on advancing healthcare diplomacy and positioning health as a key driver of sustainable growth.
Anita is the founder and CEO of Health Hub, the first regional healthcare think tank, established in the aftermath of the pandemic. Under her leadership, Health Hub has built a vibrant community of over 150,000 stakeholders, serving as a platform for dialogue, policy shaping, trend lighthouse, re-skilling and innovation platform in healthcare across the region.
A recognized initiator of numerous health-economic and diplomatic initiatives, Anita has been instrumental in fostering international collaboration that places healthcare at the center of economic and societal progress, from data-driven healthcare to green hospitals and circular economy. Her portfolio includes partnerships with leading global institutions and diplomatic missions, including the UK Embassy on Encouraging Health Tech Innovations, collaboration with the Embassy of the Netherlands on artificial intelligence in healthcare, and engagement with the Spanish Embassy on rare diseases.
Her leadership references also includes heading a high-level oncology task force composed of over 20 innovative companies at the forefront of advancements in cancer care in local EFPIA Association. She previously served as a member of the Healthcare Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce and is currently a Supervisory Board member of the 4InnoPipe2 project, part of a multinational European consortium in collaboration with the Zagreb School of Economics and Management.
Guided by the principle of Health in All Policies, Anita continues to champion cross-sector initiatives that connect healthcare, technology, and society, working with European Commission, European Parliament, ministries, OECD, Croatian Olympic Committee, Unisport etc. As passionate athlete during her younger years, she brought a sport leadership philosophy rooted in resilience, passion, and purpose — believing that meaningful change is driven by grit, perseverance, strong teams, and a shared vision.
