Christian Lau is an American technology executive serving as chief technology officer (CTO) of Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), a Major League Soccer club. In this role, he leads the club’s overarching technology strategy and implementation across both the team and its home venue, BMO Stadium.  Lau has expertise in using innovative technologies to enhance the fan experience, streamline operations, and introduce cutting-edge solutions for ticketing, access control, mobile engagement, and in-venue services.  He has additional expertise in advancing next-generation stadium tech, including biometrics for ticketing and concessions, NFC-based systems, autonomous retail solutions, and robust connectivity infrastructure designed to improve guest interactions and reduce friction at large events
