Goran Mališ is born in Varaždin in 1974. He graduated from pedagogy in Čakovec, but he entered journalism and worked as a journalist for HRT from 1995 to 1999. After that, he was the editor-in-chief of VTV television for 12 years, and from 2011 he was the head of sales and marketing at the Marodi tjestenina company. In 2014, he returned to the position of editor-in-chief of VTV television and worked there until 2019. After that, he was the editor-in-chief of the Regional Weekly, and in 2022 he was elected to a four-year term as director of the Varaždin County Tourist Board.
