Tomislav Maras was born on January 24, 1990. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb, specializing in Computer Science. Additionally, he completed an Executive MBA program at IEDC Bled School of Management in Slovenia.

He began his professional career as a software engineer at IN2 in Pula, where he worked on maintaining and developing a hospital information system, mobile medical applications, and software solutions for cardiovascular disease prevention.

In 2015, he joined Maistra in Rovinj, progressing through various roles. Starting as a hotel business intern, he later became a Revenue Manager and then a Project Manager. In this role, he participated in the implementation of ERP and BI systems, the selection and development of a new CRM system, and integration projects for Maistra, HUP, and HDR.

From 2020, he served as Deputy Director of IT and Business Support, where he was responsible for digital strategies and the reorganization of the IT department. Since January 2023, he has held the position of Director of IT and Business Support at Maistra, overseeing the company’s entire IT system, digital transformation, and business process optimization.

He possesses excellent organizational and communication skills, extensive experience in team leadership, and expertise in managing business changes. He is fluent in English and has basic proficiency in Italian.

He has further enhanced his skills through training programs such as ITIL 4 Foundation, MAI Leadership Academy, and the Intrapreneurship Academy.

In his free time, he is dedicated to personal and professional development and remains motivated to continue learning and advancing in the fields of digital transformation and business management.
